The Dons head into this afternoon’s clash in third spot in the Scottish Premiership table, having won their last four league games.

Derek McInnes’s side are arguably the league’s most in-form side, but they will be tested to the maximum against the champions today.

Celtic currently occupy top spot, and they will be desperate to go into Saturday’s Old Firm clash with Rangers top of the pile.

Brendan Rodgers’ side haven’t quite been at their brilliant best this season, but they are quite clearly still the team to beat, and the Glasgow giants will be confident that the can go to Aberdeen and win today.

The Dons will still fancy their chances, however. They beat Celtic in the league at Parkhead only seven months ago, and a win at Pittodrie would take them level on points with the Hoops.

With both teams well renowned for playing an attractive brand of football, it should be a great contest.

The game kicks off at 14:00, and can be seen live and exclusive on BT Sport 2.
