Tottenham are in FA Cup action this afternoon as they take on Aston Villa at White Hart Lane…
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won five games in a row in the Premier League, as Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Chelsea put Spurs in contention for the title.
Today, they’re in FA Cup action, and manager Pochettino has unsurprisingly decided to rotate some of his side, with Michel Vorm replacing Hugo Lloris in goal.
Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies are in at right back and left back respectively, whilst Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kevin Wimmer start at centre back along with Toby Alderweireld in what appears a back three with wing backs.
Eric Dier and Harry Winks feature in midfield, with Heung-min Son and Moussa Sissoko supporting lone striker Vincent Jnassen.
Youngsters Kyle Walker-Peters, Pau Lopez, Joshua Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou are all on the bench, alongside Victor Wanyama, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen.
Meanwhile, Villa are able to hand a debut to new signing Sam Johnstone, after the goalkeeper penned a loan deal from Manchester United until the end of the season.
Manager Steve Bruce has then gone with a back four of Alan Hutton, James Chester, Nathan Baker and Jordan Amavi, whilst Aaron Tshibola will play in holding midfield alongside Mile Jedinak.
Albert Adomah, Leandro Bacuna and Jack Grealish will be called upon to support Gabriel Agbonlahor in attack, with Ross McCormack left on the bench.
McCormack will be joined by the likes of Tommy Elphick, Ashley Westwood, Andre Green and Keinan Davis, as well as goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.
