Tottenham Hotspur host Inter Milan at Wembley Stadium this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur starting line-up: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Winks, Sissoko; Lamela, Alli, Moura; Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Gazzaniga, Rose, Walker-Peters, Dier, Eriksen, Son, Llorente.

Tottenham are back in action tonight as they play a crucial Champions League game against Inter Milan, with a win needed for Mauricio Pochettino’s men to stand any chance of a place in the knockout stages.

Spirits are high after the 3-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday night, but Pochettino has still made changes to his side for tonight’s game at Wembley.

Hugo Lloris starts in goal, but Jan Vertonghen comes in for the ineligible Juan Foyth in defence, joining Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies across the back four.

Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko will line up in central midfield, with Erik Lamela, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura called upon to play in the three attacking midfield roles behind lone striker Harry Kane.

That means that, despite starring against Chelsea, playmaker Christian Eriksen and winger Son Heung-min are only on the bench for tonight’s crucial game, potentially being rested for this weekend’s game against Arsenal.

They are joined by fellow substitutes Paulo Gazzaniga, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker-Peters, Eric Dier and Fernando Llorente, with Davinson Sanchez, Victor Wanyama, Kieran Trippier and Mousa Dembele still out.
