Southampton will be keen to keep climbing up into the top half of the table on Wednesday night, as they host Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal at homes. The Saints did well to hold an in-form Liverpool side to a 0-0 draw in their last game, and confidence will be high at the St Mary’s.

However, Southampton’s recent goal drought will certainly be a concern. The Saints have drawn their last two games 0-0, and haven’t had a win in four games. Doubts still lay over the future of Southampton manager Claude Puel, with many wondering whether the Frenchman will still be manager next season.

Arsenal will be desperate for three points on Wednesday night, as they look to keep up the heat on fifth place Manchester United. Arsene Wenger hasn’t missed out on finishing in the top four since 1996, and won’t want to start now.

The pressure is certainly will on the Frenchman going into this game, but their recent 2-0 victory against Manchester United may have eased some fans’ concerns. The Gunners will need to keep up their recent form if they’re going to reach the top four, though.
