Sheffield Wednesday host Fulham in what looks set to be a dress rehearsal for this month’s Championship play-offs.

Should the Owls – who boast the best form in the division since the March international break (P7 W6 D1) – end the season in third, they’ll meet the Cottagers at the semi-final stage, travelling to London on Saturday tea-time.

Anything else, however, and the two sides will be kept apart – potentially – until the final at Wembley, which is due to take place three weeks on Monday, with Reading or Huddersfield their next opponents.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side are guaranteed to be the play-offs’ lowest-placed side regardless of this afternoon’s result, although they are only three points worse off than Wednesday over the last seven matches.

Having already sealed their places last weekend, both sides are expected to rest key players at Hillsborough.
