Rangers starting XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Sands, Lundstram, Devine; Kamara, Jack; Sakala, Tillman, Kent; Morelos.

Rangers substitutes: McLaughlin, Davis, Matondo, Wright, Davies, McCann, Arfield, Fraser, Lowry.

Rangers take on Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership tonight as Michael Beale takes charge in a competitive game for the first time.

New boss Beale beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in a friendly on Saturday but it’s all about league action now.

Allan McGregor is given the nod in goal with the veteran stopper fending off Jon McLaughlin.

It’s a makeshift centre back pairing for Rangers tonight as James Sands and John Lundstram start in the heart of defence.

James Tavernier is at right back whilst Adam Devine is given the nod at left back with Borna Barisic unavailable.

It looks to be a 4-2-3-1 for Beale and Rangers tonight with Glen Kamara and Ryan Jack sitting deep.

That would then allow Malik Tillman to get forward from the number 10 position, as he did to great effect against Leverkusen.

Fashion Sakala and Ryan Kent start on the flanks with Alfredo Morelos leading the line in attack.

Teenage midfielder Robbie Fraser is given a spot on the bench tonight alongside fellow youngsters Charlie McCann and Alex Lowry.

McLaughlin, Steven Davis, Rabbi Matondo, Scott Wright, Ben Davies and Scott Arfield.
