Rangers substitutes: K Wright, Lundstram, Arfield, Hagi, Bacuna, Itten, Sakala.

Celtic starting XI: Hart; Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt, Juranovic; McGregor, Turnbull; Abada, Christie, Kogo; Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Bain, Bitton, Ajeti, Soro, Rogic, Urhoghide, Montgomery.

Rangers host Celtic at Ibrox in the first Old Firm meeting of the season this afternoon.

The Gers have been hit by the global pandemic, and are without the likes of James Tavernier, Calvin Bassey, Scott Wright, Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin.

Youngster Robby McCrorie starts in goal, and the surprise absence of Nathan Patterson means Leon Balogun will start at right back.

Connor Goldson and Filip Helander are the centre back pairing, with Borna Barisic on the left side of defence.

Glen Kamara, Steven Davis and Joe Aribo form the midfield three, with Ryan Kent and Kemar Roofe supporting Alfredo Morelos in attack.

New signing Juninho Bacuna is on the bench, joining Kieran Wright, John Lundstram, Scott Arfield, Ianis Hagi, Cedric Itten and Fashion Sakala.

Meanwhile, Celtic are at close to full strength and go with Joe Hart in goal.

New signing Josip Juranovic starts at left back, meaning Anthony Ralston continues on the right side of Ange Postecoglou’s back four.

Stephen Welsh and Carl Starfelt are the centre backs, whilst Callum McGregor joins David Turnbull in midfield.

It’s an exciting attacking setup, with Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi flanking Ryan Christie, all behind Odsonne Edouard in attack.

Tom Rogic has to make do with a place on the bench, joining Scott Bain, Nir Bitton, Albian Ajeti, Ismaila Soro, Osaze Urhoghide and Adam Montgomery.
