Rangers are as many as eight points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic, and have to win against Hibernian away from home this evening in order to maintain their chances.

The Gers will head into the match against Hibernian on the back of a 1-1 draw with Aberdeen away from home in the Scottish Cup quarter-final.

Meanwhile, Hibernian find themselves sixth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 41 points from 28 matches.

Hibs will head into the match against Rangers on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Celtic at home in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Meanwhile, Hibernian star Lewis Stevenson has spoke highly of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.

Stevenson told Edinburgh Live: “Morelos has been good and is always a handful. He works hard for the team and his goals have been good but there are players all around the league – I’ve liked Greg Taylor at Kilmarnock from a defensive point of view for example.

“Some people maybe touch on the chances he misses but he’s always there and, speaking to centre halves, they don’t enjoy playing against him as he’s got a bit of everything.”
