Rangers will be looking to respond to Celtic’s win on Saturday afternoon by winning against Heart of Midlothian away from home in the Scottish Premiership today.
Steven Gerrard’s side are a point behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic in second place in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment.
Neil Lennon’s side won against Ross County on Saturday to pile the pressure on Rangers, and the Gers will be determined to respond to it today.
Hearts are not an easy team to win against, and playing at home will give them an advantage, but Rangers will consider themselves as favourites for the three points.
This is how Rangers will line up against Hearts in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon:
Meanwhile, Celtic manager Lennon has hit back at Rangers boss Gerrard about the Gers being at the top of the league table before the start of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
In the build-up to the games, Gerrard said that Rangers deserved to be in pole position in the standings, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
The Scottish Sun quotes Lennon as saying: “I don’t know where that comes from. Yeah I’d quibble with that. We’ve had five away games and three at home. I’m always going to quibble with a comment like that.”
