Rangers starting XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic; Jack, Arfield, Aribo; Kent, Itten, Morelos.

Rangers substitutes: McLaughlin, Balogun, Bassey, Hagi, Davis, Kamara, Barker, Roofe, Defoe.

Rangers are back in league action this afternoon, having beaten Lech Poznan 1-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Kilmarnock are today’s opponents, as the Gers face a potentially tricky trip to Rugby Park – a place where they’ve had some trouble in recent times.

Allan McGregor starts in goal today, with Filip Helander coming in for Leon Balogun to join Connor Goldson at centre back.

James Tavernier and Borna Barisic are the full backs, with Ryan Jack protecting the back four from a holding midfield role.

Joe Aribo and Scott Arfield will offer more attacking options in central midfield, supporting Alfredo Morelos up top.

Cedric Itten is given a start out wide, with Ryan Kent on the opposite flank unless Steven Gerrard springs a surprise with a 4-4-2.

Ianis Hagi is on the bench today, alongside Balogun, Jon McLaughlin, Calvin Bassey, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, Brandon Barker, Kemar Roofe and Jermain Defoe.
