Rangers will be looking to pick up all three points from their Scottish Premiership game at Ibrox this afternoon.

Steven Gerrard’s side will take on St. Mirren at Ibrox today and will be determined to bag all there points from the encounter.

Rangers will head into the match on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen away from home in Germany in the second leg of their Europa League Round of 16 tie.

The Gers kicked off their 2020-21 Scottish Premiership campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over Aberdeen away from home last weekend.

This is how Rangers will line up against St. Mirren at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon:

Meanwhile, former Rangers stars Barry Ferguson and Kris Boyd have praised new Ibrox signing Kemar Roofe.

Rangers have signed former Leeds striker Roofe from Anderlecht in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £3.5 million.

Ex-Rangers midfielder Ferguson and former Gers striker Boyd seem to rate the striker highly.

The former West Bromwich Albion is a very good player with a lot of experience, and he will make the current Rangers attacking unit better.

Ferguson wrote about Roofe in The Daily Record: “As a fan of Marcelo Bielsa, my attention has been
naturally drawn to Leeds these last couple of years to study the shape and style of the Argentine’s team.

“Roofe was a player who always jumped out for me. He’s good on the ball but can get in behind defences. He has an eye for goal and was a big part in the Leeds team that almost secured promotion before he moved to Anderlecht.”

Boyd wrote about Roofe in The Scottish Sun: “With Roofe, I’m definitely on board the bandwagon. He really excites me and I just hope his injury problems are all consigned to the past.

“Because if he can stay fit then he will score goals for Rangers. He’s the modern-day striker. He can interchange left and right and play through the middle if required.”
