Rangers will be looking to maintain their strong start to the season with victory over St. Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Steven Gerrard’s side will head into the match against St. Johnstone on the back of a 1-0 victory over Feyenoord at Ibrox in the Europa League.
The Gers are playing well at the moment and will be confident of getting the better of their opponents this afternoon.
The Ibrox outfit are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 12 points from five matches, three points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
This is how Rangers will line up against St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon:
Meanwhile, Rangers manager Gerrard has said that he plans to hold a chat with James Tavernier over his penalty-taking duties.
The former Newcastle United right-back failed to convert a penalty against Feyenoord at Ibrox in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 27-year-old defender – who is one of the most important and key figures in the team – also failed to find the goal from 12 yards against Progres Niederkorn.

Gerrard told The Herald: “I will have a chat with him over the penalty because that is two on the spin now and get a feel for where he is at with it now.”
The Liverpool legend added: “The chat I will have with James is, are you confident you will score the next one? Do you want to take the next one? Then we will deal with the situation from there, but he played his part in a clean sheet on Thursday night, that is more important to me than the penalty miss.
“And the reaction of the whole team to the penalty miss is more important to me.I can’t see him saying no but you will know when we get the next one!”
