Rangers will be looking to maintain their good run of form this afternoon when they take on Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.

Steven Gerrard’s side will head into the match against Aberdeen on the back of a 3-1 victory over Heart of Midlothian away from home in the league.

Rangers are second in the league table at the moment with 69 points from 34 matches, as many as 12 points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.

If Rangers fail to win against Aberdeen this afternoon, then Celtic will win the Scottish Premiership title – for the eighth season in a row.

This is how Rangers will line up against Aberdeen at Ibrox this afternoon:

Meanwhile, former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has criticised Rangers manager Steven Gerrard for his recent comments about Aberdeen.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Rangers boss Gerrard said that Aberdeen raise their game when they play against Aberdeen.

Sutton has strongly criticised the Liverpool legend, and believes that he is starting to sound like former Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha, as shown in the following video on BT Sport.

Sutton said on BT Sport regarding Gerrard’s comments: He’s lost the plot, Steven Gerrard!”
