Rangers take on St Johnstone away from home this afternoon.

Rangers starting line-up: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Worrall, Barisic; Coulibaly, McCrorie, Halliday; Grezda, Candeias, Morelos.

Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Wallace, Katic, Flanagan, Rossiter, Middleton, Lafferty.

The Gers are back in action this afternoon after a 0-0 draw at Hibernian in midweek, and they are on the road again today as they take on St Johnstone.

Steven Gerrard will be looking to claim a win having seen Celtic beat Dundee on Saturday, and he hasn’t tinkered with his team too much for this afternoon’s game.

Allan McGregor starts in goal again, with James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Joe Worrall and Borna Barisic ahead of him in the back four, with Gareth McAuley not in the squad.

Ross McCrorie starts after impressing as a substitute against Hibs in midweek, and he is joined in midfield by Lassana Coulibaly and Andy Halliday today.

Eros Grezda and Daniel Candeias continue out wide with Ryan Kent out injured, and they support Alfredo Morelos in the Rangers attack.

It’s a defensive bench as Jon Flanagan, Nikola Katic and Lee Wallace are all named as substitutes, alongside Wes Foderingham, Jordan Rossiter, Glenn Middleton and Kyle Lafferty.
