Rangers are looking for a response this afternoon as they host Ross County at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers were hammered 5-1 by Old Firm rivals Celtic last weekend and need to get back to winning ways if they are to harbour ambitions of winning the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Manager Mark Warburton has had a trying week even with just the defeat to Celtic, but with controversy surrounding Joey Barton, he is desperate for a victory; Barton has been banished from the club until Monday after a training ground bust-up, meaning he is out of today’s squad.
The Rangers line-up today sees Martyn Waghorn return to the starting line-up, and he’ll support striker Joe Garner alongside Barrie McKay in a dangerous Gers attack.
With Barton banished, Andy Halliday will start in front of the back four, whilst Jason Holt – returning from injury – and Josh Windass will be given license to go forward and support the attack.
Clint HIll is handed a start in defence with Philippe Senderos suspended having been sent off against Celtic last week, and he’ll partner Danny Wilson in the heart of the back four.
The bench features the likes of Matt GIlks, Lee Hodson and Matt Crook,s along with veterans Kenny Miller and Niko Kranjcar, who are dropped out of the starting line-up having started against Celtic last week.
