Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Kranjcar, McKay, Miller, Senderos, Crooks, Garner.
Rangers are in Scottish League Cup action this evening as they host Queen of the South at Ibrox in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The Gers are in a tough spell right now, as they not only lost 5-1 to Old Firm rivals Celtic, but also drew 0-0 at home to Ross County on Saturday afternoon, whilst the ongoing controversy surrounding Joey Barton has cast a cloud over the club.
Barton has been suspended for three weeks so will again miss out tonight, and midfielder Andy Halliday – the man Barton fell out with during training last week – has been handed the captain’s armband this evening in the absence of left back Lee Wallace.
Manager Mark Warburton has chosen to shuffle his pack, as goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has been benched in favour of Matt Gilks, whilst Lee Hodson is in at left back in place of Wallace.
Halliday, Jason Holt and Josh Windass continue in midfield, whilst Harry Forrester, Martyn Waghorn and Michael O’Halloran will form a dangerous attacking trio this evening.
Summer signings Niko Kranjcar, Philippe Senderos, Matt Crooks and Joe Garner are all on the bench, joined by Foderingham, Barrie McKay and Kenny Miller.
