Rangers are back in league action tonight as they travel to Rugby Park to face Steve Clarke’s Kilmarnock side, kickstarting the second half of the season.
The Gers beat Celtic 1-0 in their last outing on December 29th, and return to Scottish Premiership action having put themselves into a real title race.
Steven Gerrard goes with Allan McGregor in goal this evening, behind a back four of James Tavernier, Joe Worrall, Gareth McAuley and Andy Halliday, with Connor Goldson out injured.
Ryan Jack will sit in holding midfield, with Steven Davis and Scott Arfield operating either side of him and Ryan Kent further ahead in a free role, just like in the 3-2 friendly win over HJK Helsinki on Sunday.
The big news is in attack as Jermain Defoe starts this evening, partnering Alfredo Morelos in attack, in a setup that appears to be full of goals.

Intriguingly, there is no place in the squad for left back Borna Barisic, after a couple of spiky comments from boss Gerrard in recent days.
