The Gers played out a 1-1 draw with Motherwell on Saturday afternoon, with substitute Joe Garner rescuing a point for Pedro Caixinha’s men in the second half.
Garner is rewarded for his goal with a place in the starting line-up, leading the line in attack with Barrie McKay and Martyn Waghorn either side of him.
The big changes come in defence, as with Lee Hodson, Clint Hill, Rob Kiernan, Philippe Senderos and Lee Wallace all out of action, Caixinha has been forced to give two youngsters their first-team debuts.
David Bates partners Danny Wilson in the heart of defence, whilst Maltese teenager Myles Beerman starts at left back in place of the injured Wallace.
Wes Foderingham keeps his place in goal after a stunning performance against Motherwell, whilst Andy Halliday, Jason Holt and Emerson Hyndman all start in midfield.
Young defender Aidan Wilson is name on the bench, whilst attackers Joe Dodoo, Michael O’Halloran, Josh Windass, Kenny Miller and Jon Toral are also named as substitutes along with goalkeeper Jak Alnwick.
