Rangers take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Ibrox this afternoon…

Rangers starting line-up: Foderingham; Hodson, Kiernan, Hill, Wallace; Tavernier, Halliday, Holt; Waghorn, Garner, McKay.

Rangers substitutes: Gilks, Wilson, Windass, Forrester, Miller, Dodoo, O’Halloran.

Rangers will be looking to head into Christmas with another victory as they host Inverness Caledonian Thistle today.

The Gers have picked up three successive wins, beating Aberdeen, Hearts and Hamilton Academical to ease some of the pressure on manager Mark Warburton.

Today, Rangers take on Inverness at Ibrox, and Warburton has made just one change to the side which beat Hamilton 2-1 last Friday evening, as Clint Hill comes into defence in place of Danny Wilson.

That means that Lee Hodson continues at right back, with Hill partnering Rob Kiernan in the heart of defence and captain Lee Wallace at left back.

Andy Halliday is joined in midfield by Jason Holt and the out of position James Tavernier, who plays in a three-man midfield despite being a right back by trade.

Warburton’s attack will again see Martyn Waghorn and Barrie McKay supporting Joe Garner, with Waghorn looking to build on his two goals against Hamilton last week.

Warburton has an attack-minded bench at his disposal, as Harry Forrester, Kenny Miller, Joe Dodoo and Michael O’Halloran are all named as substitutes, and are joined by Matt Gilks, Josh Windass and the aforementioned Wilson.
