Glasgow Rangers take on Annan Athletic at Ibrox this evening.

Rangers starting line-up: Gilks, Hodson, Hill, Kiernan, Wallace, Halliday, Windass, Kranjcar, O’Halloran, Waghorn, McKay.

Subs: Foderingham, Tavernier, Wilson, Barton, Holt, Forrester, Miller.

Rangers continue their Scottish League Cup campaign this evening as they take on Annan Athletic at Ibrox, with Mark Warburton handing debuts to a number of players.

The Gers beat Motherwell 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, as James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn continued to impress with goals at Fir Park.

Tonight, it’s back to Ibrox for Rangers, and Warburton has named five of his summer signings in his starting line-up to take on Annan Athletic.

Goalkeeper Matt Gilks, full back Lee Hodson, centre back Clint Hill as well as playmakers Niko Kranjcar and Josh Windass all start for Rangers, whilst the likes of Rob Kiernan, Lee Wallace, Martyn Waghorn and Barrie McKay all keep their places in the team.

On the bench, Rangers can call upon their big-name summer signing Joey Barton as he closes in on his debut for the club having signed from Burnley.

Barton is joined on the bench by Wes Foderingham, James Tavernier, Danny Wilson, Jason Holt, Harry Forrester and Kenny Miller in a strong Rangers side.

Warburton will be hoping to make it two wins in two this evening, and continue the club’s pursuit of the Scottish League Cup this season.
