Rangers host St Joseph’s at Ibrox in the Europe League this evening…
Rangers starting line-up: Foderingham; Polster, Goldson, Edmundson, Halliday; Docherty, Kamara, Aribo; Stewart, Hastie, Morelos.
Rangers substitutes: Firth, Defoe, Barjonas, Katic, Arfield, Mayo, McPake.
Rangers are back in action this evening as they take on St Joseph’s in the second leg of their Europa League qualifying tie at Ibrox.
The Gers won the first leg in Gibraltar 4-0, meaning they have an almost unassailable lead for tonight’s second leg, and Steven Gerrard has tinkered with his side as a result.
Wes Foderingham is named in goal rather than Allan McGregor, whilst right back Matt Polster is handed a rare start having been a forgotten figure since his January move from Chicago Fire.
George Edmundson starts alongside Connor Goldson in the heart of defence, whilst Borna Barisic is left out of the side tonight in favour of Andy Halliday.
Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo both start in midfield, which should excite Rangers fans, whilst they’re joined by Greg Docherty as he looks to nail down a place in the Rangers side.
Jake Hastie starts on the right with Greg Stewart on the left, whilst Alfredo Morelos is picked to lead the line this evening ahead of Jermain Defoe.
Defoe is at least named on the bench, alongside Andy Firth, Nikola Katic and Scott Arfield, as well as youngsters Lewis Mayo, Jamie Barjonas and Josh McPake.
