Rangers take on Villarreal at Ibrox in the Europa League this evening.
Rangers starting line-up: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Worrall, Flanagan; Jack, Coulibaly, Arfield; Candeias, Middleton, Morelos.
Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Halliday, McAuley, Ejaria, McCrorie, Grezda, Lafferty.
Rangers are back in action again this evening after beating Livingston 3-0 on Saturday afternoon, but it’s the Europa League this evening as Villarreal arrive in Glasgow.
The Gers were in a strong position after five points from three games, but defeat to Spartak Moscow last time out leaves Steven Gerrard needing a positive outcome tonight.
Rangers can at least take heart from the 2-2 draw away at Villarreal in their first group stage game, but a win tonight would be ideal for Gerrard’s men.
Allan McGregor unsurprisingly starts in goal, with a back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Joe Worrall and Jon Flanagan in front of him.
Ryan Jack will sit in holding midfield, with Lassana Coulibaly and Scott Arfield ahead of him, whilst Daniel Candeias and teenager Glenn Middleton will play out wide, supporting lone striker Alfredo Morelos.
That means that Eros Grezda is only on the bench, and is joined by fellow substitutes Wes Foderingham, Andy Halliday, Gareth McAuley, Ross McCrorie, Ovie Ejaria and Kyle Lafferty.
