Rangers take on Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Rangers starting XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Flanagan; Kamara, Jack, Davis; Arfield, Candeias, Defoe.

Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Worrall, Halliday, McCrorie, Grezda, Middleton, Lafferty.

Rangers are back in action this afternoon as they travel to Fir Park to take on Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic failing to beat Livingston on Saturday afternoon means Rangers can at least cut the gap at the top and delay the Bhoys’ title celebrations a little longer.

The Gers beat Hearts 3-0 in midweek, bouncing back from defeat to Celtic – and they must attempt to put together a strong run before the end of the season.

Allan McGregor starts in goal as usual, whilst Jon Flanagan continues at left back despite Andy Halliday returning from suspension this afternoon.

James Tavernier features at right back, with Connor Goldson at centre back, whilst Nikola Katic joins him in place of Joe Worrall.

Steven Davis starts in midfield alongside Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara, with Scott Arfield featuring out wide again, having done similar against Hearts.

Daniel Candeias comes back into the side on the right flank, with Jermain Defoe up front as Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos both serve suspensions.

Halliday is named on the bench, alongside Wes Foderingham, Joe Worrall, Ross McCrorie, Eros Grezda, Glenn Middleton and Kyle Lafferty.
