Rangers travel to take on Legia Warsaw this evening.
Rangers starting line-up: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Flanagan; Jack, Davis, Aribo; Arfield, Ojo, Morelos.
Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Helander, Barisic, Kamara, King, Jones, Defoe.
Rangers are back in Europa League action this evening, as they travel to Poland to take on Legia Warsaw in the final qualifying round of the competition.
The Gers have so far seen off St. Joseph’s, Progres Niederkorn and tricky Danish side FC Midtjylland, but now face arguably their toughest qualifying challenge yet under Gerrard in Legia.
Gerrard has gone with Allan McGregor in goal, with a back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Nikola Katic and Jon Flanagan in front of him.
Ryan Jack, Steven Davis and Joe Aribo are given the nod in midfield, meaning Glen Kamara has to make do with a place on the Rangers bench this evening.
Scott Arfield and Sheyi Ojo start out wide but will come infield to support the lone striker, who is Alfredo Morelos this evening, as Jermain Defoe is a substitute.
New signing Andy King is involved in the squad this evening, but joins fellow midfielder Kamara on the bench, showing off Gerrard’s options in midfield.
Wes Foderingham, Filip Helander, Borna Barisic and Jordan Jones round out tonight’s squad, with some maybe surprised Jones isn’t involved having been such a threat on the counter at Midtjylland.
