Rangers take on Hamilton Academical this afternoon.
Rangers starting XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Worrall, Halliday; Jack, Kamara, Arfield; Kent, Candeias, Defoe.
Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Katic, Barisic, Coulibaly, McCrorie, Davis, Lafferty.
Rangers hammered Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup on Wednesday night, and will be looking to pick up a league win over Hamilton this afternoon.
Goalkeeper Allan McGregor returns to the side between the sticks after Wes Foderingham filled in for him during a two-game suspension.
He will be protected by James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Joe Worrall and Andy Halliday, with Ryan Jack sitting in the holding midfield role.
He will be aided in the engine room by Scott Arfield and new signing Glen Kamara, who produced a superb showing against Kilmarnock just days ago.
With Alfredo Morelos suspended, Jermain Defoe comes back into the side, and will be supplied by Ryan Kent and Daniel Candeias on the flanks.
That means that Borna Barisic has been dropped to the bench in favour of Halliday at left back, which may not be a surprise after Halliday’s goal against Kilmarnock.
Foderingham, Nikola Katic, Lassana Coulibaly, Ross McCrorie, Steven Davis and Kyle Lafferty join Barisic on the Rangers bench today.
