Preston North End will be looking to get back to winning ways tonight as they host Leeds United at Deepdale, having lost their previous three games to Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Reading.

The Lilywhites have seen their play-off hopes fade away as a result, and Alex Neil has made one change to his back line, with Tom Clarke replacing the injured Darnell Fisher, joining Paul Huntington, Ben Davies and Greg Cunningham in protecting Declan Rudd.

Ben Pearson, Paul Gallagher and Alan Browne start in midfield, with Billy Bodin and Tom Barkhuizen supporting Sean Maguire in the Preston attack this evening.

Josh Harrop is only on the bench despite calls for him to start, alongside Chris Maxwell, Calum Woods, Josh Earl, Daryl Horgan, Callum Robinson and Louis Moult.

Meanwhile, Leeds are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon, and manager Paul Heckingbottom has kept faith with Bailey Peacock-Farrell in goal.

Vurnon Anita, Pontus Jansson, Paudie O’Connor and Stuart Dallas make up a patchwork back four, with Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips both in the heart of midfield.

Jay-Roy Grot is handed a rare start in attack alongside Caleb Ekuban, with Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe called upon to support the duo in the final third.

Young Spaniard Hugo Diaz is handed a place on the bench, alongside ex-Preston goalkeeper Andy Lonergan, as well as Tom Pearce, Callum Nicell, Ezgjan Alioski, Samu Saiz and Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
