Here is how Partick Thistle and Glasgow Rangers will line up this afternoon:
Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha gestures to the players
Rangers travel to Firhill Stadium this afternoon to take on Partick Thistle in their latest Scottish Premiership match.
Pedro Caixinha’s side will be smarting from their 5-1 defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic last time out and Partick could be on the end of a fine Gers performance if the Portuguese can get them firing on all cylinders.
Rangers are third in the table as things stand, six points clear of St Johnstone but nine behind second-placed Aberdeen.
As for Partick, they are sixth, three points clear of Ross County with a game in hand.
Rangers have a 100 per cent record when it comes to Premiership matches against today’s opponents so both sides have a big reason for getting a victory on the board this afternoon.
With the hosts having a fine recent record at home, this one could make for interesting viewing, especially if Partick score the first goal.
