Newcastle United starting XI: Dubravka; Murphy, Krafth, Lascelles, Dummett, Ritchie; Shelvey, S Longstaff; Almiron, Joelinton, Gayle.

Newcastle United substitutes: Darlow, Clark, M Longstaff, Saint-Maximin, Lewis, Hendrick, Manquillo, Willock, Anderson.

Tottenham Hotspur starting XI: Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Rodon, Reguilon; Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso; Moura, Kane, Vinicius.

Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Hart, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Alli, Lamela, Bale, Son, Scarlett.

Newcastle United go with Martin Dubravka in goal, and the three centre backs ahead of him appear to be Emil Krafth, Jamal Lascelles and Paul Dummett.

Jacob Murphy and Matt Ritchie would then line up as the wing backs, flanking central midfield duo Sean Longstaff and Jono Shelvey, whilst Miguel Almiron and Joelinton support Dwight Gayle up top.

Allan Saint-Maximin only makes the bench as he returns from injury, joining Karl Darlow, Ciaran Clark, Matty Longstaff, Jamal Lewis, Jeff Hendrick, Javi Manquillo, Joe Willock and Elliot Anderson.

Tottenham have Hugo Lloris between the sticks, whilst Sergio Reguilon is passed fit to play at left back, joining Japhet Tanganga, Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon at the back.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will screen the back four, with Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso slightly further ahead in the midfield diamond, leaving Lucas Moura as the number 10.

Carlos Vinicius starts up top again, partnering Harry Kane having both scored in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa before the international break.

Son Heugn-min is back on the bench, and is joined by Joe Hart, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Dele Alli, Erik Lamela, Gareth Bale and Dane Scarlett.

That means Matt Doherty again misses out amid doubts over his future, whilst there is no Toby Alderweireld or Steven Bergwijn either.
