Two sides desperate for a win after disappointing losses do battle tonight in the League Cup.
Newcastle suffered derby heartache against previously winless Sunderland losing 2-1, with Manchester City conceding a late minute howler to lose by the same scoreline Chelsea, with Joe Hart left out this evening.
Newcastle will therefore be keen to make amends to their home crowd, but have their work cut out against opponents who hammered them 4-0 in the opening weekend of the season.
