Newcastle United host Everton in the Premier League today, and will be looking to build on last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Magpies go with Karl Darlow between the sticks, behind three centre backs; Fabian Schar, Jamaal Lascelles and Federico Fernandez.

Jacob Murphy and Jamal Lewis are the wing backs today, with Jeff Hendrick and Sean Longstaff in central midfield.

Callum Wilson leads the line, with support from Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin out wide.

Ryan Fraser is only on the bench, alongside Mark Gillespie, Ciaran Clark, Andy Carroll, Joelinton, Isaac Hayden and Javi Manquillo.

Meanwhile, Carlo Anceloti has made the bold decision to drop Jordan Pickford, handing a debut to new signing Robin Olsen in goal.

Niels Nkounkou fills in for the suspended Lucas Digne at left back, with Jonjoe Kenny, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina making up the rest of the back four.

It’s hard to work out just how Everton are lining up in midfield, as five central midfield players – Allan, Fabian Delph, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Andre Gomes and Gylfi Sigurdsson – all start, so that will be a key point for Toffees fans.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin leads the line on his own, with Everton clearly damaged going forward by the absences of Richarlison and James Rodriguez.

Youngster Ellis Simms is given a place on the bench, alongside Pickford, Jarrad Branthwhaite, Anthony Gordon, Alex Iwobi, Bernard and Cenk Tosun.
