Liverpool are back in Premier League action tonight as they host Leeds United at Anfield.

The Reds’ up-and-down season continued over the last week, losing 1-0 at Nottingham Forest before convincingly beating Ajax in midweek.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking for another win and he seems to have kept with the 4-4-2 diamond he tested against Ajax.

Alisson Becker starts in goal tonight with Joe Gomez continuing at centre back alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Trent Alexander-Arnold starts at right back with Andrew Robertson over on the left side.

Fabinho will protect the back four with Harvey Elliott and Thiago joining the Brazilian in midfield.

Roberto Firmino then features as the number 10 behind Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez up top.

It could be a 4-3-3 with Nunez and Salah flanking Firmino or even a 4-4-2 with Salah and Elliott out wide and Nunez joining FIrminio up top, but we will assume it’s a diamond again.

Former Leeds ace James Milner is only on the bench, joining Caoimhin Kelleher, Ibrahima Konate, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones, Kostas Tsimikas, Fabio Carvalho and Nat Phillips.

Leeds are desperate for a result after four straight Premier League defeats and Jesse Marsch is under huge pressure.

The Whites go with Illan Meslier in goal and it looks like a back four of Rasmus Kristensen, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk.

Tyler Adams comes back into the side this evening, joining Marc Roca in the heart of midfield.

Rodrigo leads the line up top and will be supported by Crysencio Summerville, Brenden Aaronson and Jack Harrison.

Deadline day signing Wilfried Gnonto makes the bench, as does fellow young attacker Joe Gelhardt.

Joel Robles, Luke Ayling, Junior Firpo, Diego Llorente, Sam Greenwood, Mateusz Klich and Patrick Bamford make up the rest of the Leeds bench tonight.
