Manchester United may have already qualified for the last-16 of the Champions League, but they still need a point to secure top spot in the group.
Given some of the other sides in the competition, the importance of avoiding them in the next stage cannot be overstated, but United will be even more desperate to put in a good showing given their recent struggles.
In truth they have looked relatively comfortable in Europe, with two of their best performances of the season coming home and away to Bayer Leverkusen. But Shakhtar Donetsk need a win to ensure their own qualification so it could be a tough match for David Moyes’ men.
