Confirmed Manchester City v Arsenal lineups: Pepe starts, Partey on the bench

Manchester City starting XI: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Cancelo; Rodrigo, Foden, Bernardo; Mahrez, Sterling, Aguero.

Manchester City substitutes: Steffen, Stones, Gundogan, Torres, Fernandinho, Delap, Garcia.

Arsenal starting XI: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Saka; Ceballos, Xhaka; Willian, Pepe, Aubameyang.

Arsenal substitutes: Runarsson, Luiz, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Partey, Nketiah, Lacazette.

Manchester City go with Ederson in goal, whilst Joao Cancelo comes in at left back, joining Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake in the back four.

Rodrigo will anchor the midfield, allowing Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva to go forward and support the front three of Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling and the returning Sergio Aguero.

Liam Delap is on the bench again, alongside Zach Steffen, John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Ferran Torres, Fernandinho and Eric Garcia.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have Bernd Leno between the sticks, behind a back five of Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding, Gabriel Magalhaes, Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka.

Dani Ceballos partners Granit Xhaka in midfield, with Nicolas Pepe brought into the front three alongside Willian and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

New signing Thomas Partey is only on the bench, joining Runar Runarsson, David Luiz, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Mohamed Elneny, Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette.
