Here is the Manchester City team to take on CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Youth League.
Manchester City under-19s: Gunn, Maffeo, Adarabioyo, Bossaerts, Tasenda, Bryan (c), Byrne, Ntcham, Ambrose, Pozo, Barker
Subs: Albinson, Smith-Brown, Tattum, Oliver, Holland, Celina, Nemane
Manchester City’s under-19 side are the first to play out of the English teams in the UEFA Youth League this week and they will be looking to follow up on a positive result against Italian side Roma.
City have one of the best under-19 sides in Europe and players from a combination of the under-18 and under-21 sides have already put them in a great position in this competition already this season.
City are top of Group E with a 100% record from all games played so far, conceding just two goals while scoring six. Another three points puts them closer to the ten point mark, which is normally enough in this group format to ensure a place in the first knock out round.
Their opponents in this game are on three points having won game and lost the other with a goal difference of zero having scored and conceded four goals so far in the competition.
