Here is how Manchester City will line up against Stuttgart:
Manchester City starting XI: Hart, Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov, Evans, Nasri, Silva, Navas, Bony, Sterling
Manchester City subs: Caballero, Zuculini, Denayer, Lopes, Garcia, Iheanacho, Dzeko
Manchester City play their final pre-season friendly of the summer this weekend when they take on German side Stuttgart.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have had a hit-and-miss summer so far, beating Melbourne City and Vietnam, drawing with AS Roma (before winning on penalties) and losing heavily to Real Madrid.
City will know they have to be at their best to reclaim their Premier League title this season, especially when you consider how some sides have strengthened.
The same of course can be said of City, who have spent big to sign Raheem Sterling from Liverpool and have also signed Fabian Delph, Patrick Roberts, Enes Unal and David Faupala.
Of those players, it is Sterling who will be expected to make the biggest impact given his transfer fee, and the pressure will be on him to hit the ground running when the competitive action kicks off.
