Manchester City’s home form is such that any visitor to the Etihad Stadium is immediately tipped for something of a tonking. And yet Crystal Palace are rejuvenated under Tony Pulis and the former Stoke boss will be hoping to pull off the shock of the season so far.
With Arsenal not playing until tomorrow, the Blues know that just a point will send them to the top of the table, but given that they have a 100% record at the Etihad they will be hoping for all three.
Palace, on the other hand, will be hoping recent history does not repeat itself as the Eagles have not won away to the Blues since 1990.
Given that Palace have kept five clean-sheets in their eight league matches, it may not be completely against the realms of possibility that they could take something from arguably the hardest away game of their season.
