Here is how Manchester City and Chelsea will line up this afternoon:
Manchester City welcome current Premier League champions Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium later today in a huge match for both sides.
City won their opening game of the new campaign 3-0 away to West Bromwich Albion, giving them the best possible start, but Chelsea dropped two points at home to Swansea City and Jose Mourinho’s side will not want to go two matches without a victory.
That will be easier said than done against a City side that looks like it plans on going all out to regain the title in the months ahead.
Chelsea do however have a good recent record against City, winning two and drawing two of their last four encounters. But with just one win in their last seven visits to the Etihad this really could go either way.
City have the fire-power to cause Chelsea plenty of problems, and the visitors’ defence will have to improve considerably from last weekend to keep the likes of Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling at bay.
