Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this evening…

United are back at Old Trafford after a dismal 3-2 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, and will hope to ease some of the pressure on manager Jose Mourinho this evening.

Manager Mourinho has made changes to his side tonight, though David De Gea unsurprisingly keeps his place in goal behind a much-changed back four, with Eric Bailly not even in the squad.

Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all return to the United defence, joining Luke Shaw at the back, though there are suggestions that Nemanja Matic may join them in a back five.

Ander Herrera, Fred and Paul Pogba appear to make up the midfield three in that case, with Jesse Lingard supporting Romelu Lukaku in attack.

Alexis Sanchez is only on the bench, and is joined by Lee Grant, Victor Lindelof, Ashley Young, Scott McTominay, Marouane Fellaini and Marcus Rashford.

Meanwhile, Spurs are looking for a third win in a row to start their season, with Hugo Lloris in goal and captaining the side despite being arrested for drink-driving on Friday.

Danny Rose is handed a shock start at left back, forming a defence alongside Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, with Davinson Sanchez dropped to the bench.

Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele start in midfield for Spurs, with Lucas Moura, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli all called upon to support Harry Kane in attack.

Ben Davies is therefore dropped to the bench too, and joins Sanchez, Michel Vorm, Serge Aurier, Harry Winks, Erik Lamela and Fernando Llorente.
