Manchester United host Everton in the Premier League this evening.

United endured a frustrating afternoon at Old Trafford on Saturday, as they couldn’t break down a resilient West Brom side in a 0-0 draw.

Manager Jose Mourinho was understandably disappointed with the performance, and it’s no surprise to see him make a host of changes to his side.

Antonio Valencia misses out completely, with a back four of Ashley Young, Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind in front of goalkeeper David De Gea.

Michael Carrick will protect the back four, with both Marouane Fellaini and the returning Ander Herrera playing in midfield, with Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford will both support Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his return from suspension.

There is no place in the squad for ex-Everton star Wayne Rooney, with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial joining Sergio Romero, Luke Shaw, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Luke Shaw on the bench.

Meanwhile, Everton need to hit back having lost 3-1 to Merseyside rivals Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, which came after just one defeat in nine Premier League games.

Everton’s goalscorer at Anfield, Matthew Pennington, is dropped back down to the bench tonight, with Ronald Koeman going for a back four of Mason Holgate, Phil Jagielka, Ashley Williams and Leighton Baines ahead of goalkeeper Joel Robles.

Gareth Barry, Idrissa Gueye and Tom Davies all start in midfield, whilst Kevin Mirallas is handed a start alongside Ross Barkley, with the duo looking to play around striker Romelu Lukaku.

It’s a youthful bench for Everton tonight, as Pennington joins fellow prospects Jonjoe Kenny, Joe Williams, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ademola Lookman on the bench, along with Enner Valencia and Maarten Stekelenburg.
