Manchester City take on West Bromwich Albion in Premier League action.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be making sure they avoid any unnecessary slip ups tonight against Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion. Manchester City’s season has been a somewhat deflating one after all the hype over the arrival of the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager. However, fans will be happy to take Champions League football come the end of the season.

But with Arsenal hot on their heels, this has been by no means secured, and City will need to be switched on against a disciplined West Brom side. Guardiola’s side have won their last two games, scoring seven goals in the process.

Unlike City, West Bromwich Albion have arguably over-achieved this season, and currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League. Tony Pulis has yet again set up a side who have become notoriously hard to beat, and they will likely cause Manchester City plenty of problems tonight.

The Baggies aren’t taking any good form into this fixture however, after failing to win in their last four games. West Brom will be in need of a genuine goalscorer this summer, as they look to compliment an already stable defence.
