Manchester City take on Everton in the Premier League this evening.

Manchester City opened their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion, with a Sergio Aguero strike and a Lewis Dunk own goal handing Pep Guardiola all three points.

Tonight, City keep virtually the same team, with a back three of Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi and ex-Everton man John Stones featuring in front of goalkeeper Ederson.

Leroy Sane replaces Danilo at left wing back, with Kyle Walker over on the right, whilst Fernandinho, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne featuring in midfield.

Aguero is partnered in attack by Gabriel Jesus, meaning that Raheem Sterling is again left on the bench alongside the aforementioned Danilo.

Claudio Bravo, Eliaquim Mangala, Yaya Toure, Phil Foden and summer signing Bernardo Silva are also named as substitutes this evening in a strong City squad.

Meanwhile, Everton are also hoping to build on their opening day victory over Stoke City, with Wayne Rooney bagging the only goal in that 1-0 victory.

The Toffees have splashed the cash since that win, as Gylfi Sigurdsson has arrived from Swansea City in a club-record deal, but he is only named on the bench this evening.

Despite an unconvincing spell with the formation against Stoke, Ronald Koeman has again gone with a back three of Ashley Williams, Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka protecting Jordan Pickford.

Leighton Baines and Mason Holgate feature at wing back, whilst Tom Davies starts in a midfield three alongside Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Wayne Rooney again leads the line, with youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin playing up top alongside him this evening after playing at wing back last weekend.

Sigurdsson is joined on the bench by Maarten Stekelenburg, Cuco Martina, Muhamed Besic, Davy Klaassen, Kevin Mirallas and Ademola Lookman.
