Manchester City will be looking to consolidate their position inside the top four in the Premier League table when they host Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.

Pep Guardiola’s men will be looking to get back to winning ways after drawing their last two games.

But they will be facing a Palace side that are within touching distance of securing safety in the Premier League, with the bottom three six points back with three games left.

Like City, the Eagles will need to forget their recent form if they hope to secure a positive result, having lost to Tottenham and Burnley in their last two games.

The previous meeting between the two saw the Citizens run out narrow winners as Yaya Toure’s late goal – his second of the game – helped the top four contenders to a 2-1 victory.

A repeat of that result would see City pile the pressure upon Arsenal and Manchester United who are both chasing a Champions League qualification spot. But will they secure an important three points against an undoubtedly determined Palace side?

Here is a look at how the two sides line up this afternoon…
