Here is how Liverpool and West Ham United will line-up at Anfield today, kick-off at 1.30pm.
Liverpool starting eleven: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard (c), Henderson, Downing, Coutinho, Suarez
West Ham starting eleven: Jaaskelainen, Demel, O’Brien, Tomkins, Collins, Diame, O’Neil, Nolan (c), Jarvis, Vaz Te, C.Cole
Liverpool subs: Jones, Skrtel, Coates, Shelvey, Suso, Assaidi, Sturridge
West Ham subs: Henderson, Potts, Pogatetz, Taylor, Maiga, Collison, Chamakh
Liverpool will be hoping to pick up three points to take them above Everton at least until the Toffees complete their match at White Hart Lane later today. Brendan Rodgers is targeting a strong finish to the season to claim a European spot and also overtake their neighbours, and will hope that travel shy West Ham will not put up too much of a fight at Anfield.
West Ham will be without Andy Carroll at Anfield today, as the striker is ineligible to play against his parent club. The Hammers have been poor on the road this season, with only Reading losing more away games in the Premier League, but their home win over West Brom last week took them to 36 points and close to ensuring their place in the division next season.
Liverpool won the return fixture 3-2, but what is your prediction for today’s match.
