Liverpool starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Kabak, Robertson; Thiago, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane; Jota.

Liverpool substitutes: Adrian, Milner, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, R Williams, N Williams.

Newcastle United starting XI: Dubravka; Murphy, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett, Ritchie; Shelvey, Longstaff; Almiron, Saint-Maximin; Joelinton.

Newcastle United substitutes: Gillespie, Carroll, Gayle, Wilson, Lewis, Hendrick, Krafth, Manquillo, Willock.

Liverpool go with Alisson in goal, whilst Fabinho continues alongside Ozan Kabak in the heart of defence.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are the full backs as usual, with Thiago partnering Gini Wijnaldum in central midfield.

Jurgen Klopp has picked all four of his big attackers, as Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota all start.

James Milner is back on the bench, joining Adrian, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones, Kostas Tsimikas, Xherdan Shaqiri, Rhys Williams and Neco Williams.

Newcastle have Martin Dubravka between the sticks, and it’s a back five in front of him in Jacob Murphy, Federico Fernandez, Ciaran Clark, Paul Dummett and Matt Ritchie.

Jonjo Shelvey and Sean Longstaff continue in midfield, with Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin supporting Joelinton up top.

That means Callum Wilson is only ready for the bench, and he’s joined by fellow substitutes Mark Gillespie, Andy Carroll, Dwight Gayle, Jamal Lewis, Jeff Hendrick, Emil Krafth, Javi Manquillo and Joe Willock.
