Manchester United starting XI: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba, Van de Beek; Greenwood, Rashford, Cavani.

Manchester United substitutes: De Gea, Telles, Tuanzebe, Fernandes, Fred, James, Mata, Matic, Martial.

Liverpool starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, R. Williams, Fabinho, Robertson; Thiago, Wijnaldum, Milner; Salah, Jones, Firmino.

Liverpool substitutes: Kelleher, Mane, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, Origi, Phillips, N. Williams.

Manchester United have Dean Henderson in goal, whilst Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw are the back four ahead of him.

Scott McTominay will anchor the midfield behind Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek, though one could push forward as a number 10.

Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford feature on the flanks, with Edinson Cavani leading the line today.

That means David De Gea is only on the bench, joining Alex Telles, Axel Tuanzebe, Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial.

Liverpool go with Alisson in goal, but Joel Matip misses out completely, meaning Rhys Williams partners Fabinho at centre back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are the full backs, as Thiago, Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner all start in midfield.

There’s a surprise on the left flank as Jurgen Klopp has decided to go with Curtis Jones there, rather than in his usual midfield role.

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino join Jones in attack, meaning Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino have to settle for places on the bench.

Caoimhin Kelleher, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kostas Tsimikas, Nat Phillips and Neco Williams are the other Liverpool substitutes today.
