Confirmed Liverpool v Manchester United lineups as Wataru Endo starts

Liverpool starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Endo, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

Liverpool substitutes: Adrian, Kelleher, Gomez, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, McConnell, Quansah, Bradley.

Manchester United starting XI: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Evans, Shaw; Mainoo, McTominay, Amrabat; Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho.

Manchester United substitutes: Bayindir, Kambwala, Reguilon, Wan-Bissaka, Gore, Hannibal, Pellistri, Van de Beek, Rashford.

Liverpool are back in Premier League action this afternoon as they host bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield.

The Reds continue to push for the Premier League title this season and will be buoyed by Manchester City’s draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp goes with Alisson in goal this afternoon with Ibrahima Konate partnering Virgil van Dijk at centre back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold features at right back with Kostas Tsimikas given the nod at left back.

Wataru Endo is given a start in holding midfield with Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch further ahead of him in the engine room.

Darwin Nunez leads the line in attack with Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz operating on the flanks.

Cody Gakpo is on the bench for the Reds, joining Adrian, Caoimhin Kelleher, Joe Gomez, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, James McConnell, Jarell Quansah and Conor Bradley.

Manchester United have Andre Onana in goal with Jonny Evans joining Raphael Varane at centre back.

Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are the full backs this afternoon with Kobbie Mainoo and Sofyan Amrabat in front of the back four.

Scott McTominay will push further forward, joining Antony and Alejandro Garnacho in supporting Rasmus Hojlund up top.

Marcus Rashford is only on the bench, joining Altay Bayindir, Willy Kambwala, Sergio Reguilon, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Dan Gore, Hannibal Mejbri, Facundo Pellistri and Donny van de Beek.
