Liverpool host Crystal Palace at Anfield in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Reds picked up a 1-0 away win at West Bromwich Albion last weekend, with Roberto Firmino’s goal handing Jurgen Klopp a fifth victory in the last seven games.

Liverpool can move one step closer to sealing a Champions League place when they take on Crystal Palace this afternoon, with Firmino leading the line again along with Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho.

Lucas Leiva, Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum continue in midfield with both Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana still out of action, whilst Nathaniel Clyne, Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren and James Milner making up the back four.

Simon Mignolet starts in goal, with Loris Karius on the bench alongside Alberto Moreno, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Marko Grujic, Ben Woodburn and 17-year-old striker Rhian Brewster.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Leicester City last weekend, with Sam Allardyce’s men losing just one of their last seven games.

The Eagles lie just four points clear of the relegation zone after Swansea’s win over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, and need to keep picking up points to be guaranteed of survival.

Allardyce is dealt a blow by the absence of star defender Mamadou Sakho, who is ineligible to play against his parent club, meaning that Joel Ward, Martin Kelly, James Tomkins and Jeffrey Schlupp make up the back four in front of goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Yohan Cabaye, Luka Milivojevic and Jason Puncheon start in midfield, with Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend supporting ex-Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.

Patrick van Aanholt is only on the bench for Palace today, alongside Bakary Sako, Mathieu Flamini, Fraizer Campbell, Damien Delaney, James McArthur and goalkeeper Julian Speroni.
