Liverpool starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Gakpo, Jota.

Liverpool substitutes: Adrian, Kelleher, Mrozek, Gomez, Konate, Diaz, Nunez, Elliott, Tsimikas, Clark, Scanlon, Doak, McConnell, Koumas, Quansah, Fraudendorf.

Jurgen Klopp continues his preparations for the new season as Liverpool take on Bayern Munich this afternoon.

The Reds have been full of goals in pre-season, hitting four goals in each of their three warm-up games.

Scoring four against Bayern won’t be quite as easy as against Karlsruhe, Greuther Furth and Leicester City but Klopp would no doubt love to see it happen.

Singapore plays host to Liverpool and Bayern today with both sides ramping up their preparations.

Alisson starts in goal for Liverpool in what looks like a very strong side ahead of the new campaign.

Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk are the centre backs with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson in the full back positions.

Curtis Jones will operate as the deepest-lying Liverpool midfielder with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai further ahead of him.

Mohamed Salah joins Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo in the Liverpool front three, meaning Darwin Nunez is only on the bench.

Nunez has been in strong form in pre-season but Klopp has decided to put him on the bench today.

The Uruguayan is joined by Adrian, Caiomhin Kelleher, Fabian Mrozek, Joe Gomez, Ibrahima Konate, Luis Diaz, Harvey Elliott, Kostas Tsimikas, Bobby Clark, Calum Scanlon, Ben Doak, James McConnell, Lewis Koumas, Jarell Quansah and Melkamu Fraudendorf.
