Liverpool are back in action this evening as they take on Atalanta in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash.

The Reds coasted past Sparta Prague in the last round and would love a similarly worry-free tie with Atalanta.

The Serie A side will surely be a tougher challenge though and Liverpool need to get back to winning ways after Sunday’s draw at Manchester United.

Caoimhin Kelleher keeps his place in goal with Alisson still out of action.

Ibrahima Konate is given the nod to start at centre back, partnering Virgil van Dijk in the heart of defence.

Joe Gomez moves to right back with Kostas Tsimikas coming in on the left side.

Wataru Endu will sit in midfield with Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones further ahead of him in the engine room.

Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo feature on the flanks with Darwin Nunez starting up front.

Diogo Jota returns to the bench tonight after his spell on the sidelines whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold and Stefan Bajcetic are also named as subsittutes.

Adrian, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Andy Robertson, Ryan Gravenberch, Bobby Clark, Jarell Quansah and Conor Bradley make up the rest of the bench.
