Liverpool take on Roma in the Champions League this evening.

Liverpool starting line-up: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner; Mane, Firmino, Salah.

Liverpool substitutes: Mignolet, Clyne, Klavan, Moreno, Ings, Solanke, Woodburn

Liverpool are potentially 90 minutes away from the Champions League final as they travel to take on Roma at the Stadio Olimpico this evening.

The Reds hammered their Italian counterparts 5-2 at Anfield last week, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all running riot, and all three start again tonight as Salah makes his first return to his former club since signing for Liverpool last summer.

Loris Karius starts in goal as he continues to serve as Jurgen Klopp’s first choice stopper, whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson all feature in defence.

Jordan Henderson will sit in front of the back four, with Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner starting alongside him in midfield behind the famed from three of Mane, Firmino and Salah.

With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Emre Can and Adam Lallana all out, Liverpool are seriously depleted in the middle of the park, and have been unable to name a midfielder on the bench this evening.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is a substitute alongside defenders Nathaniel Clyne, Ragnar Klavan and Alberto Moreno, as well as forwards Danny Ings, Dominic Solanke and Ben Woodburn, meaning any injury in midfield may force Alexander-Arnold to step up as he did against Stoke City on Saturday.
